Solution
- 1 Quarter = 25 cents: \(1 \times 25 = 25\) cents.
- 2 Nickel = 5 cents. Two nickels: \(2 \times 5 = 10\) cents.
- 3 Penny = 1 cent. Four pennies: \(4 \times 1 = 4\) cents.
- 4 Add all together: \(25 + 10 + 4 = 39\) cents.
Answer
39 cents
Always count from largest coin to smallest: quarter (25ยข) โ nickels (10ยข) โ pennies (4ยข) โ total 39ยข.
